We babied this camera for less than a year - low mileage, bag, etc. great quality, not a cheap unit … Now the target car is broken and will not open. No pictures, no video. From the reviews it seems that this is all too common. One might think that Sony would have to think about how they could do one of the few moving parts last longer than a couple of months! Buyer beware … (or replacement policy!)

I offered to videotape a friend's wedding and received a disc error right before the "I Do's" and lost the entire thing.
